I had a package stuck at customs filled with books, two of which I’ll be reviewing here at Pimp Your Work.  It took forever for me to finally get them (I guess the smuggling of ideas is top priority for customs officers these days). The books I’ll be reviewing are the following:

It’s likely I’ll get the reviews up within the next couple of weeks, since I’m a fast reader and both books seem all kinds of awesome.

In other site news, please don’t forget to answer our question of the week!

Leave a comment on my July 24th post and get in the running for two great business books.

I’d like your suggestion on business books. And as incentive, I’m giving away a copy of each of my favorite TWO business books to one commenter:

1. The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.

2. The Warren Buffett Way, by Robert G. Hagstrom.

Yes, both! The rules:

1. Submit a comment to THIS post giving me a book suggestion for baby boomers starting a business. Include your email address (no one but me will see it) so I can notify you if you win.

2. The deadline is August 7 at midnight (Central Daylight Time).

3. Only U.S. and Canadian entries will be considered (shipping costs).

4. The winner will be selected by a randomized number selection process. You may enter as many times as you want, as long as you include a different book with each entry.

Cher recently put her Malibu estate on the market for $45 million and we’ve covered her former Miami home before, now let’s check out another of Cher’s fabulous cast-offs. Today’s estate is in Key Biscayne, Florida. The six-bedroom home is located on the water and has a man-made private beach and 100 feet of water frontage. Still can’t get enough water? The home also has an infinity cascade pool and a separate spa. The home is designed to take advantage of the weather with multiple terraces and many windows. White walls, light wood floors and dark wood and white furnishings along with some interesting contemporary art gives the home a modern look. Cher’s former home is listed at $12.9 million.
