The winner in a minute, but first, my observations:

I was overwhelmed by the number of people who have great creative ideas and a desire to express those ideas.

For example: When I got divorced, my ex burned all of my poetry (along with other things). I am just now getting the creativity flowing again. This would help me gain that once again.

I have about a dozen suspense novels and a great screenplay rattling around in my brain…..I’m always being told that I “should write a book”……perhaps I should!!
(I know the feeling - I’ve a fiction book and several non-fiction business books in my head - strange feeling.)

I would love to create a dollhouse…..a REAL dollhouse, with electricity and everything! (What a fantastic idea!)

I’m an aspiring memoirist, I’ve been reading as many memoirs as I can to prepare, boy do I have stories to tell! Could use the inspiration, would love to win this!

I’d like to create songs that would really move people.

I would love to be able to paint, my dream would be to be able to capture the ocean right before a storm when everthing feels so free, the breeze blowing the salt water, it would be awesome

I spent most of my life writing poetry, short stories, and journalistic articles, even though I originally received a degree in Painting & Drawing. In the past few years I’ve begun creating two-dimensional collages inspired by put-together images from recycled magazines (until the imagery and landscape are all my own, and poetic). I’m always waiting to see what the next collage will be, and what my subconscious will end up telling me about me and society in general! So that’s what I want to create now, the next collage, big or small, in between bouts of sculpture, jewelry-making, and pottery!

I never heard of this book-I want to finish a quilt! I’m a sewer and have quilted but I never seem to complete things. Maybe if a win I have the ability to read how to gain the inspiration or maybe I need to break down the barriers that keep me from finishing? Thanks for the chance to win!

My problem is I want to do it ALL! And there just isn’t enough time to do it all, and so I end up never doing anything. But being creative is extremely important to me. My brain is constantly creating and finding inspiration, whether my hands ever move or not. Maybe this book is what I need to get over the feeling of helpless frustration… not to mention the guilt.
(I completely know how this person feels!)

Now for the winner:
Dawn Yates is the winner!!! I send her an email to let her know she won.
Congratulations to Dawn and to all of you who entered. I hope just thinking about the contest sparked your creativity.
